A short rant : Parent

Yes, my blog is public. Yes, everyone can read it including my mum. Yes, I don't care because I need to rant it out.

Mums, no matter what you do or what you say, you just can't win, no matter what. Fuck logic and reasoning, you just can't win.

I don't handle criticism very well. So, every time someone tells me off or say some thing that upsets me, I tend to get very angry and accept the fact that I am what they say and then continue to become like that because they said I'm like that. I tend to satisfy what they want. I reverse psycho myself and everyone. I'm not the kind to be better when people talk me down. This is one of my weakness. With much luck, my mum likes to scan for every weakness I have and like to take it out and wipe it at my face when given a chance. Which I really despise, but what can I do? Exactly nothing. I can take it as a challenge and improve myself, but I don't want to. Because no matter how hard or how good you tried to be, you'll never be as good as they expect you to be. And because I can't take it. So I leave it be.

Mums tend to exaggerate everything. One small problem can become a big problem is you don't handle it well. Even if you wave a white flag and let them do anything they want, they still wouldn't be satisfied. Some how, mums are more difficult to handle than a girlfriend. (I know, women are hard to handle, because I am one. And when they get older, it gets more annoying. Guys, if you can, please go gay. Nah, just kidding) When they threaten to do something, and you let them do it, they would not be satisfied! If you don't let them do it, you'll be in hell also. So, it's either jumping into a sea with 1000 tonnes of stone tied to your leg or free falling from 100, 000 feet up the air with no parachute. You die either way. So, just choose an easier way to KO yourself.

Some times, when she talks to me in a kind of tone, my emotion automatically become moody and I don't feel like talking. It feels like I'm getting into a meaningless argument. Because when you talk to an angry person, you'll just be fueling up her anger. As she explain and complain, she is remembering the whole event again which will make her more angry. So, I'll just put a poker face and say "I don't know". How to make her not angry? I don't know either, and again, to the hell hole again.

She told you to do something. She gives you reason to do it. You explains you want to do it your way. Sorry, argument invalid, you need to listen to your mum and obey. Unless you already did it and it didn't went well, you get scolded again for being unorganized and why you do it that way. :JackieChan'sWTF:

My personal life................. the only thing I can say publicly is that : for everything, there should be a fine line that you should not cross. Even in friendships, relationships, and parent-ships. It's different for everyone, so I can't say much either.

Do I tell her when I think she is going overboard some times? If I do, I do not know how to put it properly, and she wouldn't take it easily. Some how, every time I tried to voice out to her, it came out wrongly. And it would end up ugly = no point. In our mind, everyone that is elder than us should be obeyed and they are always correct. Well, I beg to differ.

Suddenly felt motivated to do something. :)
One step at a time.

Children nowadays

Parents do love their kids.
When they love too much, they get overprotective.
When they are overprotective, they treat them like a prince/princess, making them super spoiled.

When I was a young girl, I used to do a lot of bad things. I mean bad as in things that my parents don't quite approve of. I will play with fire and even cycle outside the neighborhood (which is forbidden when I was really young since the jalan raya is the most dangerous place a kid can be in). And quite frequently, my mum will introduce a new friend to me. He's tall and thin and he is made of wood rather than flesh. And his name is Mr. Rotan. I don't usually get whacked, but when I do, I can't forget the taste of agony when Mr. Rotan decided to kiss my bum bum. And following is a long kneeling session in front of the God statue(? I don't know what it's called  in English, but it's that wooden thing with chinese letters on it. It's one of the God we pray to) And that is how we learn to fear and stop doing stupid and dangerous things. Asian parents smack their children, and I think it is the correct thing to do. Even my primary school teachers do that and I don't think it's a problem at all (not to the extend of abusing lah). Can't you see we're more disciplined this way??

Modern parents nowadays, they don't smack their children anymore. They only showered them with love, money and technologies aka Apple product. THEY'RE SO GODDAMN SPOILED!
And I've seen so much kids nowadays, they talk like adults, and they're all ill-mannered. Threatening is their favorite action to take when they don't get what they want. They act all snobbish like and if you some how got on their bad side, they'll give you that sidelong glance(jeling) at you. They ignore you and they don't address you when they see you. Not only that, even kids start swearing. What is happening to the society???

When I was a baby, my parents thought me to always say "Sorry" when I did wrong, "Thank you" when I'm given something, "Please" when I'm asking for something (Oh, not to mention "Excuse me" too). Always address and greet older people by "Uncle" or "Aunty", "Gor gor" or "Jie Jie". And I didn't know the word "f*ck" until I was in Primary school. This is how I grew up, and I'm glad I'm not an impolite prick in the arse.

And here, I'm gonna put a random picture of a kid. I found it on facebook, and I do not know who's sister is this but yeah, her face is damn epic.

Caption: My sister made a lot of noise this morning when we were having breakfast. She would usually cry till she get what she wants. In this case, she wanted the iPAD. After having what she wanted, she threw us a "what-are-you-looking-at" look.
And again I would like to clarify, SHE IS NOT MY SISTER. That is just a caption from the original photo.

........ Immediately, I was like "What the....... this kid need some serious old-school whooping".
Seriously????? Oh, not to mention the comments on this picture, everyone was like "AWWWW, SO CUTE" and I'm like.....
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"

PEOPLE, this is not CUTE, this is the beginning of human disgrace! First class abomination!!!

So please,
Dear modern parents,
I hereby officially plead to you.....
Please... Please... raise a proper child. Teach him manners. Teach him the magic words. (No, I don't mean abracadabra or "iPhone/iPad/DOTA"). Give him a good smack on the ass if they do wrong to make sure they learn their lesson. Do not spoil them with unnecessary things. Teach him/her to be humble and to make peace with everyone.

Sincerely,
Hope-humanity-will-be-restored.
